Summer Vacation

Without writing a book, I am going to give a few details about our trip to the beach. I have attached a slide show with quite a few pictures. Courtney, Deano, Blake and Griffin came and hung out with us. The guys went golfing and the ladies did some shopping. We also had Granna come to dinner to celebrate her birthday. We had absolutely beautiful weather most of the time and we were able to get a few great shots of Bailey on the beach and in the pool. She really didn't mind the sand. While drinking our coffee in the mornings, we could see the dolphins jumping, right from the balcony. It was really nice but made us miss living near the water. I also included photos of our downtime, ie. teething cracker, walker toy, pulling Blake's tooth. We had a great time and appreciate a certain someone. Wink...Wink..

Big Girl Tub

We retired the baby tub and she is loving the freedom to move around. The first time we put her in the big tub, she was trying to hold her legs up so the water would not touch her. The closer you got her to the water, the further her legs would raise and she would start to cry. We had to have very quick baths at first. But as you can see from the pictures she is having a ball now.

First Boo-Boo

Last Thursday at Daycare, Bailey got her first goose egg. She was playing on the floor and fell backwards and hit herself in the head with a toy. The pictures don't do it justice, it was a nice size knot. Of course she was okay and the knot has since disappeared.

Daddy back in full force

For everyone who didn't know, Jeremiah has been busy studying for his bar exam and has had little down time. Well, last week he took the bar and is DONE. He has had lots of time with Bailey and she is so excited. You can tell she missed her daddy. We are going on a family vacation at the end of August and then Jeremiah will start working the day after Labor day. He has been able to enjoy staying home with her even though she has been sick. Also, we had more professional pictures taken this weekend and will get the proofs back in about 2 weeks. I will either post the website or wait to get the pictures and publish them on the blog. I had little time to post much in the past few weeks so I loaded up this time. 4 new post. Enjoy.

Learning to Stand

Bailey has learned to pull up on things to stand. She loves it. She tries to stand everywhere, including the bath with is scary for me. She might skip crawling all together.

Bailey playing peek-a-boo with Roxy

I was putting laundry away in her room so I put her in the crib to play with her toys. Instead she pulled herself up just enough so she could she the dog. Roxy thought she was playing with her so she got excited and would run out of the room and come back in and stop at her crib. Bailey just laughed and would duck down and come back up. In one of the pictures you can actually see Roxy's ears standing up as she ran in. Also note Bailey's fuzzy hair. It is the cutest thing.

Sick Baby

Bailey had a little cold this past week and we stayed home to get well. I captured her waking up from a nap because she is just so sweet. She is always in a good mood, even when she is sick, and you can tell from the pictures.
