We celebrated Thanksgiving again this year with Jeremiah's niece, Ashlyn, and family. It is really nice to have some family close by because as you will be able to tell we travel a lot. We hope to continue to be welcome at their house for years to come. I know it means a great deal to Jeremiah, plus, Ashlyn celebrates a birthday close to Thanksgiving
The Cordova's came to visit us the weekend after Thanksgiving. The kids played, the women shopped and the guys golfed. It was an all around good visit. Heath, Vicky, and Stella came for a while and had lunch. They also gave Bailey her birthday present which you will see she loves. We could not get her out of the car. We finially had to put it out of her sight.

Updates
I have been extremely bad at keeping this blog up to date, so there are 9 new post for you to look at, starting from the most recent back to September. We have stayed busy and I know with the holidays coming up it will not be easier but I am working on staying current.
Halloween
For Halloween we went to one of Jeremiah's co-workers house for a party. The street they live on goes all out. The road is blocked off and every house decorates for the kids. It was amazing to see that many people. I really felt like I was on Bourbon Street again. It was really cold so we didn't last long but we had a great time. Jeremiah was told we needed to dress up as well so we put something together at the last minute. He dressed in a baseball uniform and I was his bat girl. We should have gone in street clothes, not everyone was dressed up and I was freezing. By the end of the night, she was tuckered out, and fell asleep on the arm of the recliner.
Bailey's Back
At about 5 months, when Bailey was able to sit unassisted, I thought I noticed that her ribs where more prominent on one side. At the next visit with the doctor (which I couldn't go to because of work), Jeremiah mentioned it to the her pediatrician. He said it was probably the way she was sitting and not to worry. As she got older, it became more noticeable. As most of you know I had scoliosis and had surgery on my back, so of course, I was worried. I personally told the doctor at her next visit that it bothered me and I would like him to refer us to a specialist. He told a closer look at her back and set me up with a pediatric orthopedic. Our appointment with him was on Sept 25Th. He took x-rays and said she does have a curvature of her spine and wants to get an MRI to rule some things out. Her MRI is scheduled on November 13Th. She is going to be sedated so they can get the pictures. So everyone please keep us in their thoughts and prayers. I will update everyone when we know something more.
Tubes
Bailey has had multiple ear infections that her doctors (Primary & ENT) weren't sure if they were clearing up with antibiotic and then coming back or if they were persistent, so they thought she needed tubes. I went to the ENT on a Monday and she had tubes put in on Thursday. We had to be at the hospital at 5 am to get checked in and her surgery was scheduled at 6:30am. We were home by 7:30 am. She did great and it was really fast. She has not skipped a beat since. I took a few pictures with my cell phone so they are not that great, but you will see her in the baby hospital gown and her bear slippers. She was a hit with all of the nurses.
Playroom Fun
Since Bailey has become more mobile, we change a room that was connected to our kitchen into a playroom. Besides a chair & TV, everything in there is hers. We tried to make it as childproof as possible so she can be in there by herself while I cook and get her things ready for the next day. We have a baby gate up so she can see out and Roxy likes to sit and watch her play. Most of the pictures are her cruising with her walker.
Jeremiah sworn in by Alabama Supreme Court
Bailey & I went to Montgomery to watch Jeremiah get sworn in by the Alabama Supreme Court. It was really interesting but my full attention was on Bailey. It is really hard to keep a ten month old entertained and quiet for 2 hours. I sat in the very top, closest to an exit just in case, so the pictures are from a mile away.
